Where are O2 Monde shoes made?
O2 Monde’s Italian, vegan, ethical and plant-based heels, flats and sneakers are manufactured at small, family-owned factories in Florence, Tuscany; Fermo, Marche; and Naples, Campania. We produce our eco-friendly shoes in these locations with respect to Italian tradition, which designates the varying regions as experts in a particular type of footwear. Our specific selection of manufacturing partners also reflects our commitment to supporting artisans who focus on the quality of their products and the livelihood of their employees.
Are O2 Monde shoes vegan?
Yes. O2 Monde crafts 100% vegan, Made-in-Italy footwear from the Earth’s most advanced bio-materials. Our consideration of every single component of our plant-based shoes — from the upper, outsole and heel to the lining and insole — makes our vegan designer shoes among the eco-friendliest options available.
How do you source your materials?
Ninety-five percent of O2 Monde materials are sourced from thoroughly vetted Italian suppliers, who exclusively manufacturer their materials in Italy, which minimizes transportation emissions. These eco-pioneers have been at the forefront of sustainable innovation for decades, both within the fashion industry and beyond — we also look to the home and automotive industries for innovative, sustainable materials to use in our cruelty-free shoes. Regardless of their origins, we meticulously test all materials to ensure superior quality and performance.
Is O2 Monde vegan leather more sustainable than traditional leather?
Yes. Our vegan materials are more sustainable than traditional leather, which relies upon toxic processes that make the tanning industry the second most polluting industry in the world, after the energy industry. Our vegan materials also eliminate livestock production, the single largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions — more than the world’s transportation systems combined.
Notably, O2 Monde materials are certified vegan and eco-friendly, with a focus on plant-based materials. We also strive to minimize the use of plastics and maximize the use of recycled materials, upcycled from industrial waste. All materials are lab tested and certified by Italian suppliers who share and embrace our values.
Do you use sustainable shipping materials?
Yes. O2 Monde shipping and shoe boxes are constructed of recycled, FSC-certified paper. To avoid unnecessary waste, we exclude plastic packaging and synthetic dust bags.
How do you monitor your factories?
O2 Monde shoes are handmade in Italy at small, family-owned factories. We exclusively work with premier manufacturers and suppliers who share and embrace our values to ensure that everyone in our supply chain is paid a living wage and provided an ethical, healthy work environment. As part of the process of crafting artisan shoes, O2 Monde’s founder, Mirco Scoccia, also regularly visits our manufacturing partners and suppliers. While perfecting every single detail of O2 Monde shoes — from prototype design to finishing — he monitors the environments to ensure all social and sustainable criteria are met.
How do I care for O2 Monde vegan leathers?
O2 Monde vegan leather shoes are naturally more durable and softer than traditional leather — and are best spot cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
What should I do if I am between sizes?
O2 Monde shoes come in whole sizes and fit true to size. If you are between sizes, we recommend selecting the next full size up. If you have additional questions, please contact us at info@o2monde.com.
What is your Returns & Exchanges policy?
Exchanges and returns are complimentary for eligible items in their original, unworn condition within 10 days of delivery, for a full refund to your original payment method. Please note that shoes must be in their original condition and packaging. Therefore we recommend testing shoes on a soft, carpeted surface to avoid and marks of damages to the soles. Returns or exchanges that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to you. If you receive a shoe with quality imperfections, please email us at info@o2monde.com within 48 hours of receiving the item.
While standard exchanges are always free, we only accept one exchange shipment per purchase. Subsequent exchanges will be subject to shipping charges of $30 USD per item. Contact us at info@o2monde.com to initiate a return or exchange.
Items marked as final sale at time of purchase are ineligible for return.
What is your Cancellation policy?
We cannot guarantee any cancellations or changes once your order has been completed, but we are sometimes able to make changes to orders that have not yet shipped. Orders that have already shipped cannot be changed or canceled. If your order has already been dispatched, we will be happy to set up a return for unworn shoes within 10 days of receipt. What is your shipping policy?
We offer free express shipping from Italy to the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. By shipping directly to our customers, we minimize shipping time and reduce emissions. Unfortunately, we do not ship our products to customers outside of the US at this time. Please contact info@o2monde.com for more information.
How soon can I expect delivery?
We ship quickly! Your O2 Monde order will be fulfilled and dispatch within one working day of receipt or within 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays. Upon dispatch, you will receive a shipping reference (air waybill number) that allows you to track your package, with most packages delivered within two business days, depending upon region.
How can I track my order?
Once your O2 Monde order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your air waybill number, which will allow you to track your package.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are pleased to accept Visa Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay and Paypal. Unfortunately, we do not accept personal checks or cash.
What if an item is out of stock?
If your desired item is out of stock, please contact info@o2monde.com for restocking or waitlist information.
What are Pre-orders?
Pre-orders are advance purchases made on new or sold-out items that are scheduled to be shipped at a future date. Pre-orders will have their own specific shipping date. The estimated shipping time is located in the description of each pre-order item. Please make note of each pre-order estimated shipping time before purchasing.
We cannot guarantee the arrival date of your pre-order item, but always aim to have it arrive as close to the release date as possible. Release date can be found on product page. Pre-orders can have production delays. When placing your pre-order you agree to these terms. We will do our best to update our site with any changes.
Do you require prepayment for a preorder item?
Yes, all pre-orders are charged immediately. This will lock your order in and you will have top priority.
Combined Orders
If you ordered a pre-order, pre-order bundle or any additional item with a pre-order, you will receive whatever is in stock and any items in pre-order will be fulfilled as soon as it becomes available. You will not be charged for additional shipping cost.
How can you charge such low prices for high-quality designer products?
Our partnerships with three family-owned Italian factories that believe in our project allow us to produce in limited quantities and ship directly from our warehouse in Italy. This minimizes production costs, taxes and overstock that typically drive up retail fees.

All objects from our O2 Monde Circular Fashion Collection are authentic and unique. Buying a second hand or vintage garment, you purchase a rare and often unique piece. The small IMPERFECTIONS are part of the beauty and preciousness of the garment.
