Fox Holt style tips for O2 Monde

From FX EDIT

Whether you are looking for a pair of hot pink 4” stilettos or some cheetah print sneakers, you can find them here at O2 Monde. Designer and founder Mirco Scoccia spent decades working for name brands, but at the beginning of 2021, he decided to remerge from the pandemic, focusing on sustainability. With O2 Monde, Mirco has combined his iconic designs, dedication to people and planet, and colorful materials to make Italian crafted vegan shoes that you will be drooling over. This Shopping Guide features some of O2 Monde’s most exciting designs and provides a few suggestions on how to style them.

Asha Sneaker:

Marine biologist and activist for blue whales, Asha De Vos, was the force behind these vegan sneakers. These shoes are made with innovative materials such as bio-based cereal lining and recyclable pieces like the outsole. They represent a future that is environmentally and socially responsible and are meant to be worn by the next generation of thought leaders to guide us to that future.

How to Style: Pair these sneakers with something simple, dressing up a look, or wear them with a more fancy outfit to dress it down. These shoes are perfect for playing around with your look and mixing and matching.

Hindou Slingback Heel:

These colorful open-heel stilettos are inspired by geographer and environmental activist Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim. The shoes include a black knit trim made from recycled polyester on the top — making the heels stand out in more ways than one. There are other variations of this shoe in different heel heights.

How to Style: These heels go with anything from a loose linen midi dress or a well-fitted suit.

Shalvi Sneaker:

These slip-on vegan sneakers are made with a bio-based cereal lining and a 100% recyclable outsole. They are also PVC-free. The shoes are named after Shalvi Sakshi, the 13-year-old climate activist from Fiji — a nation extremely vulnerable to sea-level rise. In Sakshi’s 2017 UN COP23 speech, she said, “Every single person on this Earth has the power to change the world”. These sneakers embody those words.

How to Style: Wear them with jeans and a simple t-shirt to let the sneakers unique design and bold colors and patterns shine through.
