O2 Monde is a luxury accessories brand that delivers sophisticated, sustainable, and impeccably crafted footwear at an accessible price for style-conscious consumers who care about the planet and their place within it. We strive to permanently shift the luxury accessories paradigm by offering design-forward, cruelty-free, and exquisitely handcrafted footwear that honors the Earth’s heritage and protects its future. Italian shoes the way nature intended. Our minimal, yet inventive silhouettes are classic and blend European elegance with American ease and irreverence by redefining traditional shapes with unexpected lines and innovative materials. Our designs are 100 percent handmade in Italy, we utilize vegan materials, and we maintain a reputation for creating the world’s most beautiful shoes.
O2 Monde Founder: Mirco Scoccia
Every designer’s dream is to create their own brand. For me, it was a natural process. I started to do some trials two years ago, and I spent most of my time thinking about new silhouettes and researching new innovative materials. The pandemic helped to speed up the process and allowed me to be more focused on designing the collection, which I launched in January 2021. Shoes have always played an elemental role in my life. My family owned a footwear factory in my hometown of Fermo, Italy. My professional experience spans footwear design and creative direction roles at both European and American luxury brands, ranging from Bottega Veneta and Belstaff to Tory Burch.
What challenge have you faced throughout your career made you stronger?
It was definitely when I moved from Italy to the US and started working with some of the best American brands. I was scared, but excited at the same time. There was a different language and approach to design, but it was an incredible experience.
If you could dress any famous leader in this world, who would you choose and why?
Amber Valletta and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Which five things do you absolutely need in your life to maintain your creativity and motivation?
People, art and exhibitions, love, curiosity, and pushing the limit.
