Shoes have always played an elemental role in O2 Monde founder Mirco Scoccia’s life. His family owned a footwear factory in his hometown of Fermo, Italy, and his professional experience spans footwear design and creative direction roles at European and American luxury brands, ranging from Bottega Veneta to Belstaff to Tory Burch and Khaite.O2 Monde is the synthesis of this experience. It combines Mirco’s holistic expertise, timeless design ethos and dedication to Made in Italy craftsmanship with his desire to disrupt an unsustainable industry with a progressive, eco-friendly luxury shoe brand, rooted in humanism and beauty. Currently based in New York City, Mirco regularly travels to Italy to liaise with O2 Monde manufacturing and materials partners, as well as oversee all design and production processes.
